1、 What is the function of gas springs?
Gas springs are industrial components that play functions such as support, buffering, braking, height adjustment, and angle adjustment. In engineering machinery, they are mainly used in parts such as cylinder heads and doors.
Composed of cylinder, piston rod, piston, sealing guide sleeve, packing (inert gas or oil gas mixture), control elements inside the cylinder and control elements outside the cylinder), joints, etc.
2、 What is the structure of a gas spring? The working principle of gas springs is to fill a sealed cylinder with inert gas or a mixture of oil and gas, increasing the pressure inside the chamber to several times or tens of times atmospheric pressure. The pressure difference generated by the piston rod cross-sectional area being smaller than the piston cross-sectional area is used to achieve the movement of the piston rod.

3、 What should be noted when using gas springs?
1. The working environment of construction machinery is harsh, and it is required to have sealing for the gas spring. Dust and other debris must not enter the gas spring during use. In addition, do not use sharp tools to damage or damage the surface of the gas spring piston rod, and do not apply paint or corrosive chemicals to the piston rod.
2. Adding a certain margin (about 10mm) to the working stroke of the gas spring, there may be errors during installation, which does not affect the service life and performance of the gas spring.
3. The gas spring used in construction machinery configuration generally has a short service life due to its outdoor usage environment, which needs to be considered during design.
4. The ambient temperature range for gas spring operation is generally -35~60
5. Gas springs cannot withstand lateral and diagonal forces during operation. The occurrence of eccentric wear and early failure of gas springs should also be considered in design.
6. The door structure of a lightweight non buckle device is designed with a gas spring fixed support point and a movable support point connection line passing through the rotation center after the door is closed, and the gas spring elasticity tightly closes the door. Otherwise, the gas spring often pushes the door open; Install a locking device on a weighted door structure (machine cover).
